Hot work die steel has high temper resistance and stability, mainly used in higher temperature work of hot upsetting die, hot extrusion die, copper and ferrous metal injection die, extrusion die, etc.. GB129985 "alloy tool steel specification" in 3Cr2W8V, 5CMW5Mo2V and 5CI4M03SiMnVAI three steel grades refers to this type of hot work die steel. Try better heat-resistant die steel 4X3Mo2NiVNb, austenitic heat-resistant steel, 4X3MoW4VNb (GR), 6X4Mo3NVF (G2) and other steel grades.

Steel 3Х2В8В This casting die steel is a representative grade of high heat strengthening tungsten-based die steel, where the main alloying element is tungsten with a tungsten mass fraction of 8%. It is not suitable for operation under rapid and extremely hot conditions because of its poor resistance to hot and cold fatigue and its tendency to fail due to hot and cold fatigue when operating under rapid and rapid cold conditions. However, due to its high temper resistance, it is still used as a high temperature steel for hot stamping dies in many hot working fields.

3Cr3Mo3W2V steel This die casting steel has good hot and cold workability and a wide range of quenching and tempering temperatures. Recommended quenching specifications: quenching temperature 1060-1130°C, cooling to oil-in-oil temperature 20-60°C, quenching hardness HRC52-56. It has high thermal strength and thermal fatigue properties, as well as good wear resistance and temper resistance. The steel is suitable for making hot work dies such as upsetting forging, pressure forging, etc. The die life is high.

5Cr4Mo2W2VSi steel This die-casting steel is an internal matrix steel type of heat deformation soft die steel, after appropriate heat treatment, has high hardness, toughness, good wear resistance, high temperature resistance and good tempering stability. It also has a certain strength and resistance to thermal fatigue.

Recommended quenching specifications: quenching temperature 1080-1120℃, cooling to oil-in-oil temperature 20-60℃, quenching hardness HRC61-63. The steel also has good hot working properties and a wide range of processing temperature, suitable for making hot extrusion dies, hot stamping dies, hot stamping dies and cold heading dies that require good toughness.
