Types

Plastic mold steel can generally be divided into age-hardened plastic mold steel (including mirror mold steel), corrosion-resistant plastic mold steel, surface-hardened plastic mold steel, pre-hardened buried mold steel (including free-cutting steel), quenching and tempering, steel for plastic molds and hardened steel for plastic molds six categories, the most widely used is age-hardened steel for plastic molds, carburized steel for plastic molds and pre-hardened steel for plastic molds.

Function

5、By using pre-hardened steel as well as non-tempered steel, easy processing is also a feature of plastic mold steel.
